Response

Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, our 2020 Summer Camp Experiences scheduled to be held at The University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Christian University were canceled. In the interest of our students and public health, we created a unique program called, The GEMS eCamp Experience — a unique, blended model for engaging middle school girls in STEM. Although this is not the ideal situation, we are confident that our program was NOT more of the same, in terms of eLearning. We worked diligently to preserve the human elements of our traditions and sisterhood, while applying STEM concepts in a safe and engaging digital environment using a STEM kit configuration.
